    Layered Curriculum in History Minimize
    Learning History a New Way

Ms. Crabtree’s history classes at the junior high are experiencing American history in a whole new way. They get to participate in traditional lecture and note taking, but they also choose activities to help with their learning.

Students have many choices of activities, meeting many learning styles. This curriculum is based on research conducted by Dr. Kathie Nunley and is designed to help all students learn in a manner that best meets their needs.

Check out Ms. Crabtree’s Web page at www.buckeyeschools.org/mcrabtree. Click on the Link tab at the top of the page and select what you want to see. You can also click on the Layered Curriculum lick to get a better look at each unit.
